本校設有多項跨院系學分學程(或微學程)，提供學生科際整合的學習機會，擴大學習領域，增強研究與就業的競爭力；英美語文系的課程，有許多都列入這些學程，使本系學生可以順利地參與學程並完成。

  1. 華語文教學學分學程(Teaching Chinese as a Second Language)：由本校東方語文系開設，修滿22學分可以完成；英美系所開設「語言學概論」(一)(二)、「社會語言學」、「第二外語習得」、「語意學」、「雙語教育」、「翻譯學概論與習作」(一)(二)等科目，均列為學程中選修科目。
  1. 科普傳播學分學程(Popular Science Promotion)：由本校四個學院共同開設，修滿20學分可以完成；英美系所開設「翻譯學概論與習作」(一)(二)、「翻譯實務」(一)(二)、「口譯」(一)(二)等科目，均列為學程中選修科目)。
  1. 戲劇文創學分學程(Theater Arts and Creative Industry)：由本校人文社會學院與教育傳播學院共同開設，修滿20學分可以完成。其中又分為；「戲劇微學程」、「文創微學程」兩部分，各10學分。英美系所開設「戲劇選讀」(一)(二)、「莎士比亞；悲劇」、「莎士比亞；喜劇」、「英語舞台劇製作實務」等科目，均列為「戲劇微學程」中選修科目；「英語與流行文化」、「英國語言與文化」、「英國語言與文化實地學習」、等科目，均列為「文創微學程」中選修科目。
  1. 中學師資培育學分學程(Secondary School Teacher Preparation)：由本校師資培育中心開設，英美系學生，修滿26學分，符合畢業資格，且英文能力檢定達到CEFR B2等級以上(即：全民英檢中高級複試，或相等之其他檢定通過)，經教師檢定考試合格，即取得中等學校英語教師資格。=================================================

    TCU has set up a number of interdisciplinary programs, which give students a chance to connect up professional skills acquired from up to four different colleges, expanding their studies, as well as making them more competitive in research or employment. Several courses from the Department of English Language and Literature (DELL) are included in these program options. DELL students frequently select and do well in these programs.

    1. Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. This program is established by the Department of Oriental Languages and earned with a minimum of 22 credits. DELL courses, including Introduction to Linguistics (I) (II), Bilingual Education, Introduction to Sociolinguistics, Translatology and Translation Practice (I)(II), etc. are included in the program as elective courses.
    2. Popular Science Promotion. Four colleges collaborate on this program, and the qualification is earned with 20 credits. DELL courses, including Translatology and Translation Practice (I)(II), Translation Practicum(I)(II), Oral Interpreting(I)(II), etc. included as elective courses.
    3. Theater Arts and Creative Industry. This program is offered jointly by Tzu Chi College of Humanities and Social Science and College of Education and Communication. The qualification is earned with 20 credits. The program is divided into two parts, the Drama and the Creative Industry Micro Programs, requiring 10 credits each. The DELL elective courses in the Drama Micro Program are “Readings in Drama(1) (2)”, “Shakespeare: Tragedies”, “Shakespeare: Comedies”, and “English Stage Play Production”. Meanwhile, the DELL elective courses in the Creative Industry Micro Program are “English in Popular Culture”, “British Culture and the English Language”, and “British Culture and the English Language in an Authentic Context”.
    4. Secondary School Teacher Preparation. This program is opened by TCU’s Center for Teacher Education. DELL students achieve the qualification by earning 26 credits, meeting the general graduation eligibility requirement, and achieving an English level of CEFR B2 or above (for example GEPT High-Intermediate). After completing the above, students can take the National Teacher Qualification Exam to obtain the Secondary School English Teacher certificate.
